It’s been a big week for Destiny 2 revealing the next big expansion called Shadowkeep, coming on 17th September, as well as cross saves coming this fall.
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep tasks Guardians to return to our moon, which has been altered and haunted due to our past. New Nightmares have emerged from the shadows of our forgotten Moon. Called forth by haunting visions from her tormented past, Eris Morn has returned and unleashed something that once slumbered beneath the lunar surface. Help Eris fight these darl forces to reclaim back the moon.
The expansions looks to add new missions and quests, a new destination and dungeon plus raid season oass for Season of the Undying. As well as shiny new armor and gear to earn.
Bungie will also be introducing a free to play model with Destiny 2: New Light which lets new players play the game for free without committing. It sounds like a good move to get a larger player base particularly as free to play is popular.
The last big chunk of news was the announcement of Destiny 2 coming to Google’s Stadia and also to Steam on PC. In turn, revealing cross character saves, so you’ll be able to play your as your beloved character on any platform for the game, so long as its tied to your primary account.
So is Destiny 2 heading in a better direction now?
