Codemasters has released a demo for DiRT Rally 2.0. The trial version lets players try 10 different cars across the traditional Rally and Rallycross game modes. If you opt to buy the game, your progress will carry over into the full game.
Rallying is a form of motorsport where drivers compete against the clock to complete courses in the fastest time possible. In the Trial Version, players will be able to test their driving skills and bravery on a wide range of road surfaces, from the smooth gravel of New Zealand and asphalt of Spain by using classic rally cars such as the MINI Cooper S, DS21 and the Lancia Fulvia HF.
Rallycross is a fast form of racing where off-road vehicles battle each other on tight circuits. FIA World Rallycross Championship events take place on many famous circuits around the world, and in the Trial Version you’ll be taking on Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain. Get behind the wheel of cars from Volkswagen, Audi, Peugeot, Renault, Ford and SUBARU and sample the most intensive off-road racing in the world.
DiRT Rally 2.0 delivers the most authentic off-road experience including features combined to ensure no two events are the same. Road surfaces evolve over time which adds a new layer of challenge for drivers. Tuning setups and tire choice lets players tailor their vehicles to driving style. Additionally, multiple times of day and weather conditions reward the most adaptable of drivers with championship success.
The Standard Edition of DiRT Rally 2.0 comes with over 50 iconic cars from off-roading history, ranging from rallying’s humble origins to the legendary cars of famous car brands like Audi, Porsche, Ford and SUBARU, all the way up to modern-day heroes with advanced technologies. It is also the official game of the FIA World Rallycross Championship.
