Chromatic Games have announced their plans to release a new entry in their multimillion-selling co-op tower defense action RPG series, Dungeon Defenders: Awakened. The title will be coming to Xbox One during Q2 2020.

With the initial four characters, with more in the works, players will be able to experience a variety of play styles for dispatching orcs, ogres, dark elves, wyverns, spiders, skeletons, and other vicious foes.

You’ll be able to nut up and go face to face with melee combat, skirmish at range as the magical Apprentice, or provide support as a Monk and spring traps as the agile Huntress.

Dungeon Defenders: Awakened will also include 15 maps and across five game modes will offer online and offline multiplayer.

Here’s what Augi Lye, co-founder of Chromatic Games, had to say:

“Dungeon Defenders: Awakened is an exciting new chapter for us and we can’t wait to welcome veterans and newcomers alike back to Etheria. The journey begins early next year on Nintendo Switch and Steam and we hope you’ll join us!”

Dungeon Defenders: Awakened supports cross-saves and features English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese language options.
