Elden Ring’s first major expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, has been officially confirmed.
The announcement came from the official Twitter account for the game:
Rise, Tarnished, and let us walk a new path together.
An upcoming expansion for #ELDENRING Shadow of the Erdtree, is currently in development.

There were no further details given such as a release date or just exactly what the expansion might entail. Elden Ring launched in 2022 and was very well received by critics and gamers alike. Earlier this month it was confirmed that the game had reached 20 million sold copies worldwide across consoles and PC.
