Elite: Dangerous is leaving the Xbox One Game Preview program on October 6th, Frontier Developments has revealed.

Talking on Reddit, Frontier’s boss David Braben said that October 6th is the date the studio is “aiming for”, adding that when the game launches fully, none of the ships and modules acquired during Elite: Dangerous’ early access spell will carry over. However, players will receive the in-game cash equivalent of their items.

That might annoy a lot of early adopters, especially as I know a lot of people have invested hundreds of hours into it already.

The title launched in June 2015 originally, in which exclusive rewards will be given to those who purchased the early access version.
