Croeso i Gymru! Welsh Cakes, Love Spoons and bilingual signage all make an appearance in the first Welsh route in Train Sim World.

Following on from a whole back catalogue of English and Scottish routes, Wales is finally represented in Train Sim World with the release of the Cardiff City Network route Add-on for Train Sim World 5.

This urban route with six end points covers the lines stemming from the capital city Cardiff’s two principal stations: Cardiff Central and Cardiff Queen Street, with iconic landmarks such as the Principality Stadium and Millennium Centre creating the backdrop amongst the busy commuter action.

Also new to the series is the Class 153 DMU in Transport for Wales, or TfW (Trafnidiaeth Cymru) livery along with an updated version of the Class 150 DMU previously seen in the West Cornwall Local Add-on.

Bilingual station signage is present throughout the route, as it is in reality, extending to stations at Radyr, Penarth, Coryton and Cardiff Bay. Throughout the route are a series of fun collectibles to hunt down, including Welsh Cakes, Love Spoons and Leeks: all representing Wales and its proud culture.

England, Scotland and Wales are now all represented with Add-ons in Train Sim World, covering routes across the Firth of Forth, the Cornish and Kentish Coasts, suburban Manchester, Birmingham and now inner-city Cardiff as well as many more.

Train Sim World 5: Cardiff City Network route Add-on is out now for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Epic Games Store, and Steam for £29.99/€35.99/$39.99
