BlackMill Games has announced at the FPS Games Show that their first free post-launch expansion for Gallipoli will be released on October 1. The teaser showcased the brand-new map, Ali Al Muntar, based on the strategic hill at the second Battle of Gaza during World War I. For the first time in the WW1 series, a map will feature tanks that will cinematically escort players at the start of the battle.

The free expansion is part of the ‘Second Expedition’, the first post-launch expansion for Gallipoli. As previously revealed in the game’s roadmap, this expansion will also add eight new weapons, time of day- and weather presets, as well as proximity chat. The Second Expedition will also feature new paid cosmetic DLCs. Gallipoli will be supported with updates for several years. Check out the Gallipoli Roadmap here:

Gallipoli is the newest entry in the WW1 Game Series, and released last month on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with full crossplay. Inspired by the Gallipoli campaign and the wider Ottoman Fronts, Gallipoli pits British Empire and Ottoman forces against one another in intense 25v25 squad-based battles.
