New play areas, new heroes, new game modes — and Xbox Series X|S versions of NARAKA — have seen the game expand quite rapidly over the summer; along with the player base
August saw a whole new map, Holoroth, as well as a new healing hero (Zipin Yin) and the first chapter of a new PvE campaign mode, known simply as ‘Showdown’. Yet 2022 still has plenty in store for NARAKA’s combatants; as revealed here in the exclusive NARAKA TGS trailer. In October the second chapter of the Showdown campaign will be made available to players. With the second outing covering more ground than the first; featuring new enemies, a new boss and loads more content.
While Holoroth has already vastly increased NARAKA’s play area, a mysterious meteorological phenomenon is about to offer players quite a lot more of Holoroth to explore. Buried within a huge iceberg, the major city of Yushan Ruins has long been hidden from view, but as Holoroth’s temperatures rise and the ice melts away, Yushan is set to be revealed to all.
NARAKA: BLADEPOINT will also be released on Xbox One on December 22, and is currently available on Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC, as well as Xbox Game Pass for Xbox and PC.
