Several series firsts bring fresh challenges and more action to each race

Milestone, a leading global racing game developer and publisher based in Milan, and Feld Motor Sports, Inc., the worldwide leader in specialized arena and stadium-based motorsports entertainment, released a new trailer today for Monster Energy Supercross 25 – The Official Video Game showcasing some of the most anticipated features of the franchise’s newest installment.

In this overhaul for the series, Monster Energy Supercross 25 – The Official Video Game will bring players closer to the action than ever before, letting players hit the tracks of the 2025 Championship season and, for the first time, allow players to race the tracks of the current season even before the real riders.

Brand-new riding physics will deeply change the gameplay experience for both veterans and newcomers. A revamped bike balance system puts greater emphasis on rider weight, significantly impacting the bike’s handling. On the ground, this will have a huge impact both in the whoops and the fastest sections of the tracks, where players will need to properly manage the rider’s body to counterbalance the bike movement. In more technical areas of the track, players will have more control in the cornering phase, making it easier to maneuver around the track.

Immersion reaches new heights with a more realistic steering angle, traction, and tire-to-ground contact. Similarly, a renewed stick control system will give players full control of the in-air motion, letting them decide how to manage both the rider and bike weights after the jump. In this way, performing whips and scrubs will be much more rewarding, and those who master these movements will have an advantage for their airborne finesse.

Thanks to the power of Unreal Engine 5, the Milanese team is bringing some of the community’s most-requested features to life. One of them is the dynamic terrain deformation system with evolving ruts. For the first time, the track will come to life and will evolve as the race progresses, thus challenging players to adapt on the fly to find the best trajectories lap after lap. The new game engine has also enabled the implementation of a Neural AI system which will completely change the way rivals behave during a race, a first in the franchise history. The AI-controlled riders will adjust their tactics and lines in real-time, providing unpredictable and ever-changing races.

Monster Energy Supercross 25 – The Official Video Game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on April 10, 2025, with Early Access available from April 7, 2025.
