Brazilian development studio PixelHive revealed their inspiration for Kaze and the Wild Masks; a love letter to the 90’s gaming era.

With passionate fans of retro games, PixelHive will create Kaze and the Wild Masks with classic 90s elements such as platforming elements and a 16-bit soundtrack by adding a personal touch with modern-looking pixel art graphics.

The publisher, SODESCO, had an in-depth interview with one of PixelHive’s team members where they shed light into their motivation behind creating a retro platformer in these modern times.
