The cat’s out of the bag and we are officially on Heat! Yes, The New Need for Speed has officially been named, and alongside that a trailer has been revealed to get our heart racing. It’s time to put the pedal to the metal baby.

Ghost games and Electronic Arts announced Need For Speed Heat today, the ultimate street racer versus cop fantasy. The latest Need for speed appears to be going back to its roots, and expands on everything NFS fans adore about the series, featuring expressive and expansive customisation, Urban car culture and an immersive narrative that will not just draw you in, but have you burning all limits.

Hustle by day and risk it all at night in Need for Speed Heat, a white-knuckle street racer, where the lines of the law fade as the sun starts to set. By day, Palm City hosts the Speedhunter Showdown, a sanctioned competition where you earn Bank to customise and upgrade your high-performance cars. At night, ramp up the intensity in illicit street races that build your reputation, getting you access to bigger races and better parts. But stay ready – cops are waiting and not all of them play fair.

Need for Speed Heat sends fans to Palm City, a brand-new open world where street racers have gathered to make their names known. At night, players risk it all to build their Rep in underground races where a rogue police task force roams the streets, ready to take racers down and swipe all their earnings. The roads, the risks, and the rides never end in this street racer where a player can roll deep with their crew, build their garage full of hot cars, and make the city their nonstop playground.

Fans who pre-order the standard edition will get a K.S Edition styled Mitsubishi Evolution X. Pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition adds three K.S Edition styled cars (BMW i8 Coupe, Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe, Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport), access to exclusive deluxe edition character clothing, and increased earnings of in-game currencies Bank and Rep.

Need for Speed Heat launches 8th November 2019 for Xbox One. Jump into the game first on 5th November with EA Access to enjoy up to 10 hours of early play time as part of the Play First Trial.
