At today’s Gamescom ID@Xbox announced Planet Alpha will be coming to Xbox on 4th September.
With gameplay that’s similar to indie favourites Inside and Limbo and looking, graphically, like a 2D No Man’s Sky it could be another hit for Team17. They’ve been smashing it out of the park in terms of published content recently in my opinion.
Players control a guy in a space suit who has been marooned on an inhospitable planet. You will need to traverse the dangerous locales and discover the secrets of Planet Alpha. Oh, and you also have the power to control day and night so expect this to feature in the puzzles.
It looks gorgeous, so this is one I’ll be looking to get my teeth into in a few weeks.
