And it’s also the perfect mantra for the goals of “Diplomacy” that you’ll see developed in HUMANKIND™, our turn-based historical strategy game. We want to give players plenty of options to earn “Fame” beyond the war to achieve victory in the game. That’s why today we’re excited to announce the release of our first expansion, “Together We Rule” and the accompanying free Metternichupdate, focused on diplomacy and espionage, which will give you tools to win your enemy using ingenuity and not brute force.
EXPANSION “TOGETHER WE RULE”
see the world from a new perspective and manage conflicts differently with new features of the game focused on diplomacy and espionage:
- Congress of Humanity — Participate in a forum between empires within the Congress of Humanity. This congress will allow players to vote and decide on global doctrines and arbitrate international conflicts together.
- Embassies — Use this new tool to sign agreements that are beneficial to both empires, such as joint training or research agreements. Or use the influence of your currency to force an empire to perform specific actions for your own benefit, such as reducing support for war or imposing demands.
- Agents — Use this new family of units to gather influence. They will also allow you to infiltrate, sabotage and misinform other empires.
- “Diplomatic” Affinity + 6 New Cultures— The new “Diplomatic” Affinity allows their cultures to play a more active role in world diplomacy.
– Their direct ability allows them to demilitarize a territory for 10 turns, while their passive ability allows all their units, beyond the Agents, to collect Influence.
– The 6 new cultures are: Sumerians, the Han Chinese dynasty, the Bulgarians, the Swiss, the Scots and the Singaporeans. - 6 New Wonders, New Narrative Events and New Music — The Valley of Monuments, Pamukkale, the Chocolate Hills, Eldgjá, the Palace of Versailles and the headquarters of the Congress of Humanity.
