Mob Entertainment has announced that Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 – Broken Things will officially launch on Xbox on 27th May.
The console release follows the game’s record-breaking PC debut earlier this year in February, bringing the latest chapter of the popular horror franchise to a wider audience for the first time.
Set within the dark and mysterious halls of Playtime Co., Broken Things pushes players deeper into the factory than ever before. The new chapter promises fresh horrors, dangerous encounters, and long-buried secrets tied to the sinister history of the company.
“We’re excited to finally bring Chapter 5 to console players,” said George Krstic, Senior Director of Creative at Mob Entertainment. “This chapter pushed us creatively in a lot of ways, both narratively and atmospherically, and we can’t wait for a whole new audience to experience what’s waiting inside the factory.”
In Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 – Broken Things, players confront the puppetmaster responsible for the horrifying events surrounding Playtime Co.’s past. Along the way, they’ll solve puzzles, survive deadly threats, and attempt to uncover the truth behind The Prototype’s twisted experiments.
The game also sees the return of Huggy Wuggy, Playtime Co.’s relentless security system, which will pursue players throughout the chapter as they navigate a new shadow-filled environment.
