Indie games publisher BlitWorks and independent one-man studio Seba Games’s critically acclaimed old-school side-scroller beat’em up, Fight’N Rage, is now available for Xbox One and will set you back $19.90/€19.90.
Fight’N Rage is a 2D arcade brawler inspired by the classic fighting gems of the 90’s such as Final Fight and Streets of Rage and features simplified three-button gameplay. For combat variations, players will be able to pick up a variety of weapons and make use of the Parry system.
Set in a far future where humans are enslaved by mutants, Fight’N Rage features a female kick-boxer named Gal, a minotaur-like rebel mutant called Ricardo, and F. Norris, a mysterious ninja whose past is a mystery, who join forces to defeat the mutant leader The Boss and bring back peace on Earth. Once you’re done with the story, players can tackle the VS mode either against a friend, the CPU or simply watch two CPUs beat the living hell out of each other.
Fight’N Rage features three players local co-op mode with optional friendly fire. It contains alternative paths, cutscenes and endings that can change based on the selected characters and your own decisions. The game also includes unlockable content such as costumes, extra difficulty settings, more gameplay speeds, new game modes, and more than 20 extra characters.
