During today’s Inside Xbox presentation which featured a bevy of new games from 3rd party developers, a new psychological horror game surfaced in The Medium.
The debut trailer of the game can be seen below and gives off crazy Silent Hill vibe. If the score sounds familiar, it’s because Silent Hill veteran Akira Yamaoka is currently working on the project alongside the developer Bloober Team; the same team behind the first Layers of Fear. Below the reveal trailer, there’s also an interview with producer Jacek Zieba.
The game’s story is centered around a medium who sees visions of a child being murdered. Drawn to an abandoned hotel, you slowly begin to unravel the mystery that took place.
The Medium is currently scheduled for a Holiday 2020 release.
