World War I multiplayer shooter Verdun has been delayed on Xbox One only, due to unknown circumstances.
You’d think with the game coming to PS4 on 30th August, there wouldn’t be an issue, but developers M2H and Blackmill Games announced the following:
“Although we would have loved to release Verdun on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at the same time, we regret to inform you that the Xbox One release is postponed. We hope to get the game as soon as possible on this great platform. Yet in order to deliver you a true trench warfare experience we need a little more time.”
“We take our releases seriously and for this reason made a difficult decision to delay the Xbox One release.”
Recently we have seen a step back in time for the shooter genre, as many games such as Battlefield 1 are going back to the World War, as many fans requested. How will Verdun compete with the likes of Battlefield 1 though?
