Stunt Paradise is a physical based, auto-scroller racing game where players need to ride through a bevvy of obstacles filled race tracks. You can drive forward and backward; whereas the left joystick is used to re-aligned your car after a jump.

Tracks will vary in difficulty and offer a myriad of obstacles. While most of them are automatically dodged given the auto-scrolling feature, some of them will require players to either release the accelerator a bit, drive backwards or change direction in mid-air.

As you ride through the various courses, you’ll pick up coins which can be used to purchase new rides. This allows players to experience a bit of replay value by replaying each track with a brand new shiny vehicle. Early tracks are pretty straight forward, but as you progress further, some races feature a layer of puzzle to avoid certain death.

The game looks great; highly colorful and a decent variety of levels. While the same backgrounds may return throughout the game, the level design will vary with their own obstacles. For one, there’s a race track where a train will chase out briefly or in another instance, you’ll need to set a huge harpoon to kill the shark so it doesn’t catch you. The soundtrack is a decent mix of rock/pop punk generic non-licensed tunes; gave me a bit Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater vibe.

There’s nothing inherently wrong here. The only little addendum I’d note is that there isn’t much difference in the handling of all vehicles. It feels more like skins than actual rides, but it’s a reasonable incentive to keep players playing: collect coins to collect cars.

Stunt Paradise is a fun, easy to pick up and play and addictive racer. Races get progressively harder as you progress and some of them even require a bit of back and forth in order to complete the track. My only complaint is that unlockable vehicles feel the same. Other than, if you’re looking for some variety and an easy 3000Gs(!), Stunt Paradise is a must play.
