Acclaim and Voidmaw’s gory sci-fi roguelike Katanaut is cutting deep for Steam’s Difficult Games Bash. The game’s price has been slashed by 25%, letting players dive into its dark, twisted world for just $14.39 until November 7, 2025.
This sale follows closely behind Katanaut being listed as Steam Deck verified by Valve, ensuring wandering cyber samurai have a seamless gameplay experience when carving a bloody swathe through the game’s shambling legions of Lovecraftian horrors wherever they go.
And with the Halloween holiday just around the corner, Acclaim is giving fans one last chance to take part in the Katanaut “Hack-O’-Lantern” giveaway. Hosted through Gleam, the publisher will be awarding a 512GB Steam Deck OLED to one lucky participant, with pumpkin carving a wicked Acclaim-themed pumpkin encouraged, but not required.
