It’s time to choose your allegiance as the American Revolutionary War comes to Holdfast: Nations At War on 11th June! The major free expansion for the beloved multiplayer first and third-person shooter, titled Holdfast: American Revolution, brings its signature 150-player battles to Boston’s tea-filled harbour, Washington’s notorious crossing of the Delaware, and other iconic battlefields from the American Revolution.

Whether you align with the British Loyalists or the American cause led by George Washington, Holdfast: American Revolution delivers organised squad-based gameplay where teamwork and coordination dictate the tide of battle. Maintain formation and fight as a unified line to earn powerful stat boosts in large-scale conflicts that will see you determine the outcome of this famous conflict in a live player-driven tug of war between factions.

The battlegrounds of Bunker Hill, Boston Harbour, Delaware River, and Saratoga act as the backdrop for an overly ambitious 75-player charge or just some quick pre-battle field inspections courtesy of an officer with particularly poor timing. Engage in daring amphibious landings and face the enemy head-on in Invasion mode, or stay on dry land and capture strategic points in the Offensive mode.

Over 15 classes with bespoke playstyles are available at release, each with unique traits, abilities, and a choice of weaponry. Lead by example as a distinguished Officer, construct valuable defences as a Sapper, or break through enemy lines as a Grenadier, every role can play its part in victory or defeat. And remember, in Holdfast, proximity voice chat means your most powerful weapon isn’t your musket, it’s your voice!
