Microsoft has announced that it plans to shut Lionhead Studios in the UK.
In addition to this, its upcoming release of Fable Legends has been cancelled, which may surprise many as its recently just had a closed beta.
The beta itself will finish on April 13th at 3pm, Lionhead has confirmed, as well as saying no new players will be accepted to play it.
It’s such a shame for the UK games industry to lose Lionhead, especially considering the success the studio has had since it formed in 1996 with its titles like the Fable series and Black & White.
