You might have missed a sneaky little 4GB patch for Project Cars 2 dropped on Xbox earlier today. Hell, the first I knew about it was when my PCars obsessed flatmate saw one of the new tracks on the multiplayer server list. Even he didn’t know it was out yet and that’s all he plays!

The new Ferrari Essentials DLC, which will be the final DLC, rolled out earlier today. This gives season pass owners, or those with a love for Ferrari, the chance to drive 8 of their iconic vehicles from past and present. It also adds Mugello to the track list as well as Pista di Fiorano, the official Ferrari test track.

The included cars are the 1000bhp beast otherwise know as the LaFerrari (FKK X), the F355 Challenge, the F458 Speciale A, the F12tdf, the classic F40, the 512 BB LM, the 250 Testa Rossa and the 250 GT Berlinetta.

As always, the track and cars have been reproduced to the highest of standards by Slightly Mad Studios.

Also included in the patch (version 1.7) are various fixes which include various stability fixes, improved usability of in-game tools, improved AI on various tracks, an improved penalty system, improved pitstops and repair logic as well as various minor fixes.

If you don’t have the season pass, the Ferrari Essentials DLC is also available for £7.99/$10 from the Xbox Store.
