Publisher Ultimate Games S.A. plans on releasing The Moonwalls studio’s Commander ’85 to Xbox One this Fall. Commander ’85 is a game that combines the adventure, science fiction, survival genres and adds elements of a hacking simulator.

The retro sci-fi thriller, which has been in development for several years, will be based in the United States and set in the 1980’s (duh!) and feature random events, 3 different endings, numerous pop-culture references, an atmospheric soundtrack; among additional unique features.

Commander ’85 stars a teenager living in the suburbs of Chicago whose life changes irrevocably when he receives a Commander computer for his birthday. The device is the pinnacle of human civilization and features a true artificial intelligence system.

The Moonwalls promises a very unique experience thanks to very diverse gameplay such as playing as a dog, play in-game games, hack data networks, draw and watch video tapes; all of which complimented by a plethora of 80s references and Easter Eggs.

Rafał Jelonek, COO at Ultimate Games S.A. said:

Players can count on many interesting and fresh solutions. In terms of gameplay, Commander ’85 is a very diversified project. The game also includes various random elements, side quests and three different endings. The plot deals with, among others, themes such as the arms race, the mysterious Roswell incident, military experiments and AI. All this is perfectly complemented by an atmospheric soundtrack created by Marcin Maślanka
