Ubisoft has confirmed that Tom Clancy’s: The Division will be released next year.

The game was originally put down for a 2015 release window, but will now come out some time between January and March 2016.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot told investors:

“It is never an easy decision to move launch dates, but we are committed to make decisions that will benefit the players.

“We want to make sure we have enough feedback from consumers from alpha and betas to polish it as much as possible before the launch so it comes to the market with the best experience possible. We expect less sales in the financial year than if it would have been launched in the Christmas season, but over the whole, we expect as much sales over its lifespan.”

There will however be one AAA title launched in Q4 this year, which one would assume is Assassin’s Creed Syndicate now.

During the investor call, the company also confirmed that apart from the Just Dance franchise, it will only release games for new-gen consoles like the Xbox One from now on, so there will be no more Xbox 360 new titles.
