THQ Nordic have acquired yet another studio, this time it is Piranha Bytes, the studio behind the Rise, Gothic and Elex series.
The deal will also include the rights for these game series.
Piranha Bytes will continue working on RPG gaming experiences and will retain complete creative freedom with THQ Nordic acting as their publisher.
Björn Pankratz, Project Director and Game Designer of Piranha Bytes has this so say about the deal:
