Award-winning Ukrainian developer Triomatica Games, best known for its point-and-click hit Boxville, has officially launched an Xbox store page for its upcoming theatre-themed logic puzzle game, I Want to Play the Villain!.

Players on console can now add the title to their wishlists ahead of its slated global release in Q1 2027.

In I Want to Play the Villain!, players take on the role of a director tasked with crafting the perfect theatrical performance. However, pulling off a flawless show is far from simple: every actor on stage possesses distinct ambitions, fears, favourite roles, and interpersonal dynamics.

By swapping cast members, changing costumes, and modularly altering the plot, players must use logic to satisfy each actor’s specific desires—whether that means assigning them their dream role, paired partners, or keeping them away from situations they fear.

Actor-Driven Logic Mechanics: Learn each character’s unique personality and fears to solve increasingly complex theatrical scena

While console players prepare for the Q1 2027 debut, computer and mobile players can jump into the game early with an early game demo.
