Active Neurons 3 – Wonders Of The World is a puzzle game where players need to move a block to a specific area spot on a map. However, there’s a catch: you can’t move the block freely. The movement momentum is stopped only when you reach an obstacle or a wall.

Thankfully, if you screw up or are at a loss as to what to do, you can either reset the puzzle, cancel your last move or even view the solution so you can do it yourself and move forward to the next area. The game requires quite a bit of thinking because as you progress through the levels, each area becomes harder.

While the premise sounds simple enough, there are a few bricks in the road so to speak. You’ll need to also find ways to interact with switches to move around other blocks to create a path and destroy red spike blocks.

The game features a very simplistic, unique visual. There are a bit of flashing lights, however, so fair warning to those who might want to jump into this simplistic, yet complex puzzler. Not much variety in terms of visuals given the basic gameplay requirements, but everything is easy to discern. The soundtrack is a smooth, almost lounge-y score perfect to get you in a focus state.

There isn’t anything inherently wrong with Active Neurons 3 – Wonders Of The World aside from the fact that this isn’t a game that has a lot of replay value and gameplay variety. You’ll most likely play a few puzzles at a time and delete the game once you’ve mastered and conquered them all.

Active Neurons 3 – Wonders Of The World is an addictive puzzle game that can be thoroughly enjoyed by playing in small bursts. It’s a nice breath of fresh air from the typical AAA action-crazed games or indie platformers. However, be aware that there isn’t much replay value or gameplay variety. It’s a fun, albeit one-and-done, type of game.
