Microsoft have confirmed to Windows Central that Crackdown 3 has again been delayed and that the game will now launch in February 2019.

Last week Microsoft confirmed that Crackdown 3 had not been cancelled despite some rumours that were circulating on various media channels. We did finish off that article by speculating that even though the game had not been cancelled, it may suffer another delay.

Several gaming media outlets reported this week that sources had told them that Crackdown 3, despite not being cancelled, had suffered anohther delay and now in a statement released from Microsoft exclusively to Windows Central, this has been confirmed.

“Our fans’ response to the signature antics and explosive gameplay of “Crackdown 3” has been incredible. To ensure we deliver the experience they deserve, “Crackdown 3” will be launching in Feb 2019. We look forward to sharing more on “Crackdown 3″ this Sunday during the Xbox E3 2018 briefing.”

One piece of good news from this is that despite the games further delay, we will get to see Crackdown 3, hopefully in action, at the Xbox E3 2018 Briefing this coming Sunday.
