Creative-first publisher Mega Cat Studios today announced that the surreal, future metal fantasy shoot-’em-up ZPF is now available digitally for $9.99 on Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
This modern release includes a variety of updates and improvements for current platforms; a full changelog can be viewed here. ZPF is also Steam Deck verified, delivering a seamless handheld experience as players soar through its future metal fantasy realms and take on screen-filling bosses. One of the most anticipated shooters of 2025, ZPF earned massive praise from critics and fans of the genre when it soared onto the Genesis and Mega Drive last year following a wildly successful crowdfunding campaign that reached more than 1300% of its Kickstarter goal. Now, ZPF brings its surreal, high-intensity action to modern platforms, inviting even more players to dive into a fever dream of mind-melting visuals, endless layers of parallax, and relentless arcade gameplay inspired by some of the most beloved shooters of the 16-bit era.
